Palatka FL - A rescheduled tournament has made Palatka City Dock the hub of three bass events this weekend.

On Saturday, Palatka will host the Xtreme Bass Series North River division, the Blanpro Bass Trail Team Series and the rescheduled The Father’s Heart fundraising tournament, all with weigh-ins at 3 p.m. at 319 River St.
The scene at the docks last Saturday was an uncharacteristically vacant stretch of trailer parking, punctuated by the lone covered bass boat parked on the grass at the adjacent hotel.
“We did postpone for [the] wind forecast,” Nathan Dowd, the founder and chief executive officer of The Father’s Heart, a local nonprofit organization helping needy families on the First Coast, said in an email. “We will be fishing this coming weekend.”
Some area anglers said they will be entering two of the three events. In a message, Palatka angler Lee Stalvey said, “We won the points in the Xtreme Series last year, so we fish that for free this year. The Father’s Heart we fish every year.”
Submitting a bag of fish to two tournaments is a practice known as “double-dipping.” It isn’t explicitly prohibited by the rules, but with all three weigh-ins starting at the same time, will the logistics work out?
